Course Overview

The programme champions a “Learn by Doing” ethos—through hands-on project work, you will build a professional portfolio using industry-standard tools like Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Tableau, and cloud platforms. Supported by vendor courses (e.g., Azure ML, AWS Academy, Cisco), you’ll apply learning directly in practical scenarios. Your learning journey culminates in an Advanced Computing Project where you’ll design and execute a real-world data science solution, equipping you with both technical competence and a tangible showcase of your capabilities.

Entry Requirements
  • A 2:2 Honours degree in a numerate subject (e.g., maths, computing, science, engineering), or equivalent
  • Alternatively, a 2:2 Honours degree plus 18 months of relevant computing-related work experience
  • Applicants with at least 3 years of relevant data-centric work experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • English proficiency: IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in each component), if not having completed prior learning in English
