Foundation Degree Applied Business Management (FdA)
This two-year Foundation Degree prepares you for a dynamic career in business by combining essential theoretical insight with real-world application. Beginning with the ‘My Toolkit for Success’ orientation, the programme builds your academic capabilities and transitions you seamlessly into higher education.
In Year 1, you’ll develop a solid grounding in the modern business environment, digital strategy, marketing, academic research, and innovation. Year 2 takes you deeper through applied leadership, agile operational techniques, and creative business projects. The Creative Business Project and Data-Driven Decision Making modules ensure you’re equipped to navigate contemporary business challenges while fostering innovation and strategic thinking.
Upon completing the course, you can either enter the workforce or progress to a BA (Hons) in Business Management and Entrepreneurship top-up, expanding your qualifications and career prospects.

- Entry typically requires Level 3 qualifications totaling at least 56 UCAS points.
- Relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade C / 4 or equivalent) are required.
- International applicants should hold an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
